Cecil Leitch Golf Tournament 2022

Herewith the results of the Cecil Leitch 5 Club Final played at Canterbury G.C.on 16^th June. Over 40 clubs throughout Kent participated and were represented by 30 men and 40 ladies in the final. 

Mens’ Result  

1. Barry Thomson Lydd G.C.(23) 44 points.
2. Ted Fenwick (28) Sidcup G.C. 42 points.
3. Richard Penney (19) Shortlands G.C. 37 points.

Longest drive. Chris Board (1) Shooters Hill G.C. 

Ladies’ Result. 

1. Pauline Paciorek (33) Hythe Imperial G.C. 43 points.
2. Jane King (36) Dartford G.C. 42 points.
3. Claire Fraser (33) Wrotham Heath G.C. 40 points.

Nearest the pin 8th. Gill King Darenth G.C. 

Longest drive. Claire Wilson Canterbury G.C. 

Conditions were excellent although it was very hot indeed. The Mens’ scoring was good but the Ladies’ scoring was exceptional with many scoring in excess of 36 points.
