Ellie took part in the Faversham Golf club Ladies Club Championship which was played over 36 holes. She was the leader after day 1 by 3 shots, she then played round 2 and won the club championship by 8 shots in total. She will now go on to represent Faversham against all the other lady club champions in kent next year.

Ellie then went up to The Belfry to play in the Grand Final of the Faldo Futures, whilst there was a delay due to thunder and lightning, she had a fantastic time there and got to meet Sir Nick Faldo, and also had her photo taken with the Ryder Cup. Whilst she didn’t play her best, she still came 16^th overall and got to see the professionals playing in the 1^st round of the British Masters , a DP word event.

Thankyou once again for the help and support with the grant. She has already expressed an interest in participating in the competition again next year. In the meantime her handicap is now down to 9.
