The event was held at St. Augustine’s Golf Club on Tuesday 11th June and we were fortunate to have sunny weather throughout the day despite the torrential rain on the Monday and subsequently. We had 33 mens and 45 ladies clubs throughout Kent, with some 1900 players taking part in the preliminary rounds.
St Augustine’s is a beautiful parkland course near to Ramsgate. Please edit as you see fit.

The Men’s Trophy winner was Ryan Braithwaite of Princes Golf Club , with a handicap of 7, scoring 38 points after count back on the last nine holes.Jeffrey Findlay Stone of Hythe Imperial Golf Club was runner up with a handicap of 23, also scoring 38 points.(Pictured with Christopher Setterfield , St Augustine’s Captain ) Third place went to Mark Murphy of Dartford Golf Club with a handicap of 6, scoring 36 points after count back on the last nine holes.

The Ladies cup and 1st Prize went to Jane Field of The Weald of Kent Golf Club, pictured with St Augustine’s Ladies’ Captain Caroline Richardson ,with a handicap of 33, scoring 40 points. Runner up was Mo Brotherhood of St.Augustine’s Golf Club with a handicap of 11, scoring 36 points. Third place, after a countback on the last 9 holes, went to Sally Elsdon of Cobtree Manor Park Golf Club with a handicap of 21, scoring 35 points.

The winner Jane Field and perhaps the lady from Cobtree Manor Park GC, Sally Elsdon who won Nearest the Pin on the 4th th hole and the lady from The Ridge GC , Val Rands who won Longest Drive on the 17th hole
