At the recent Annual General Meeting held on the 18th April at the Maidstone Hockey Club several grant awards were made from a number of different funds.Patron Bill Cockcroft DL presented the cheques. In total 14 grants were made from the three funds totalling £2,200.

Awards from the Stanley Blow & Ole Kverndal Fund were made to Anchorians Football Club, The Ashford Leisure Trust and to Bewl Canoe Club.

Nine grants from the Ivy Hawkes Fund were made to the following individuals:Kyle Lower-Basketball; Joseph O’Hara-Athletics; Charlotte Pape-Cricket; Enrico Atkinson -Judo; Lanina Solley -Judo; Nick Armstrong -Athletics ; Dan Seagrove Castle- Swimming; Thomas & George Finch-Cyling.

One award was made to Toby Seal from the Ernest Virgo Cricket Fund.
