Cecil Leitch results
On Thursday 11th June the final of the Cecil Leitch 5 Club Tournament was held at the well regarded Wrotham Heath Golf Club
This is the culmination of over 1700 players from Kent’s golf clubs with over 63men and women contesting the final.
Men’s Prizes were presented by Club Captain , Paul Baines (Left in pictures with Ranulf Gibson of Sundridge Park Golf Club)
Ranulf Gibson off a handicap of 8 scored 39 points to win the trophy.(Photos left to right in placing order)
Second place went to Barry Rose of Eltham Warren Golf Club off a handicap of 18 scoring 36 points.
Third place went to Damian Newton of Shortlands Golf Club off a handicap of 18 scoring 34 points.
Nearest the Pin was won by Rob McFadden of the Ridge Golf Club on the 9th Hole.
Longest Drive was won by Sonny Daniels of Knole Park Golf Club on the 17th Hole.
We were unfortunate with the wet weather but our hosts at Wrotham Heath GC, who looked after every aspect of the day and ensured all golfers were made welcome.
Our thanks to them, to Kent’s golf clubs and all finalists for making the day a success raising over £10,000 for the Kent County Playing Fields Charity.

The Ladies’ winner was Amanda Sendall of Westerham Golf Club off a handicap of 28 scoring 36 points to secure the Ladies’ trophy after a close contest and countback.

Second place went to Debra McNicholas of Shooters Hill Golf Club off a handicap of 28 also scoring 36 points.
Third place went to Tina Kemp of North Foreland Golf Club off a handicap of 23 scoring 34 points.
Nearest the Pin was won by Hilary Brown of Princes Golf Club on the 5th Hole.
Longest Drive was won by Tita McCart of Littlestone Golf Club.
