Reuben has attended BMX British Championships 29th of August in Leicester. The event had over 1250 BMX racers taking part. Reuben had an amazing time in his motos, however he came unclipped around tight bend in his quarter finals which saw him unlucky and unable to continue his competition. At this event Reuben was able to see and cheer on club member and BMX Olympic Gold Medallist, BMX World nr 1, Bethany Shriver who also on the day won British Champion in her category and co South Region Olympic Silver Medallist and Kye Whyte, British Champion in his own right also on the day. It was incredibly exciting to receive the National nr 1 Club/Team cup in a wonderful celebration too at the British BMX Championships. Onwards and upwards for Reuben who still has two Regional Races to compete in before the end of the year and the start of the winter training. Its been an incredible year where Reuben worked diligently, adjusted to training on line, fitness in Rochester Health Club, continued his Mountain Biking and promoted local Gillingham Pump track with Medway Youth Services.
