Dover Gymnastics Club received an award of £300 towards a changing room refurbishment. The award enabled Dover Gymnastics Club to make one room into separate boys and girls changing areas.

A further award of £300 went to Dover Rowing Club (picture Jacky Silk receiving their award) towards funding for Rowing Instructor's Equipment i.e. Junior Oars and a Coaching Course.

  
 

Folkestone Junior Badminton Club received £200 for the purchase of Junior rackets to introduce young children to Badminton.

Margate Cricket Club received £300 towards their continual upgrading of their playing surface. This Club has a full fixtures list for both adult and junior teams and undertakes training for under 11s and under 13s and Girls squad every Saturday morning

Saltwood Cricket Club received an award of £200 to cover expenses for three club members to attend cricket coaching courses to improve the quality of coaching for the colts section - the club has run a colts section for over 20 years. (Picture Mr Geoff Cooke receiving the award).
 
 
Street End Cricket Club were awarded a sum of £300 to provide a new net practice area for members of the club's junior section, which uses the facilities four evenings a week and at weekends from April to October. (Kevin Hopper is pictured receiving the award.
